Terms of service

Last updated October 7, 2026

Who we are

Hangr is operated by Hangr.app, Rockland County, New York. These terms are between us and the shop that uses Hangr. Questions about these terms: contact us.

The beta and the free trial

Hangr is in private beta. It is provided as is: features may change or be removed, and we make no promise of uptime. Payments are recorded, not processed: you take payment as you do today.

Every shop gets a 60-day free trial, and no credit card is needed.

Your data is yours

What you and your customers put into Hangr belongs to your shop. Contact us to export it or delete it. Our privacy page says what we hold and who processes it.

Texting your customers

Texts to customers are not live yet for any shop. When they are live for yours, you are responsible for having your customers' consent to be texted about their orders, and for honouring a customer who asks not to be texted.

Acceptable use

Use the app for running your shop. Don't use it to break the law, to send anything a customer didn't ask for, to try to reach another shop's data, or to overload or probe the service.

Ending your account

You can stop at any time: contact us to have your shop's data deleted, after an export if you want one. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Liability and governing law

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost orders or profits. These terms are governed by the law of the state where Hangr.app is based (Rockland County, New York).

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
