Your customers always know where their order is

  1. A receipt instead of the claim ticket

    One small receipt instead of a claim ticket and a carbon copy: your shop's name, the ticket number, the ready-by date, the items and the total, with a QR code for the customer's phone.

  2. Their order on their phone

    The QR code opens the order on any phone, with no app to install and no account to make: the items, the ready date, what's left to pay and your hours. It turns to Ready for pickup by itself when you mark the order ready.

  3. A message when it's ready

    Today it's an email. When a customer gives an email at the counter, Hangr emails them when you take the order and again when it's ready, each with the link to their order page. Tap Undo within 10 seconds and the Ready email never goes out. One click in the email stops them.

    Texts are rolling out shop by shop and are not live yet.

  • Switching from another system

    Bring your customers and open tickets over from your old system's CSV or Excel export. Open tickets keep their old numbers, so the tags already on your rack still match. Check a preview before anything is saved, and undo it for 14 days.

    Hangr doesn't take card payments itself yet. Keep your card machine: Hangr records how each order was paid. Printing from a tablet is not live yet: for now, print from a computer.

Hangr is in private beta. Apply with your shop's details. A person reviews every application, and if we can take your shop on, we'll email you a link to set up your account. Every shop gets a 14-day free trial, and no credit card is needed.

No. Hangr is the counter's point of sale for dry cleaners, tailors and alteration shops, a laundromat's drop-off counter and shoe repair shops. Each starts with a price list for its trade, yours to change.

Yes, for the counter: orders and prices, customers, recording payments at pickup, the day's close and the reports. It doesn't take card payments itself yet, so keep your card machine and record each payment in Hangr. Your customers and open tickets can come over from a CSV or Excel file, and while you run both, orders go into each: Hangr doesn't sync with another system.

No. They scan the QR code on their receipt with any phone camera and the order opens in the browser. Nothing to install and no login.

By email: one when you take the order and one when it's ready, each with the link to their order, whenever the customer gives an address at the counter. They can stop them with one click. Texts are rolling out in the beta and are not live yet, so for now customers hear from you by email.

A tablet or computer with a web browser. Hangr is built for touch, with big buttons for a busy counter. Receipts print from a computer, through the browser's print dialog, to a printer the computer can already print to, with the ticket number as a barcode. Printing from a tablet is not live yet. The same printer can print a label for each garment, or you keep your tag gun and write the number on the tag.

No. Every shop starts with a typical price list for its trade: dry cleaning, alterations, wash and fold, or shoe repair. Change the prices, rename items, reorder the tiles or add your own.

Two short steps: what your shop does, then its name, time zone, opening hours and whether you charge sales tax. Phone and address can wait. Then you take your first order. If your shop is on Google, you can pick its listing first and choose which of its details to use.

Yes. Everyone on your team gets their own sign-in, and anyone can add two-step sign-in with an authenticator app. Owners look after the shop's details and prices; counter staff take orders and hand them over.
